Comice Pear

The Comice (Doyenné du Comice) was raised about 1849 in Angers, France, and is widely considered the finest dessert pear of all. Rounded and greenish-yellow, often blushed, it has exceptionally sweet, juicy, smooth and buttery flesh prized for eating fresh.
