Yellow Newtown Apple
The Yellow Newtown (the yellow strain of the Newtown Pippin, also called the Albemarle Pippin) is a firm green-gold apple with crisp, aromatic, sprightly flesh. Grown in New York and Virginia, it was one of colonial America's most celebrated export apples, shipped to England and renowned for its long keeping.
