Lawrence Pear
Lawrence is an American pear from Long Island, New York, raised in the 1840s. Medium, golden-yellow and finely dotted, with melting, sweet, aromatic flesh, it ripened in early winter and was esteemed as one of the better late-season dessert pears of its day.
