Grimes Golden Apple
Grimes Golden originated in West Virginia in the early 1800s and is regarded as a parent of the Golden Delicious. Golden-yellow and crisp, with a spicy, rich, sweet flavour, it was esteemed both as a dessert apple and for cider throughout the 19th century.
