Maiden Blush Apple
Maiden's Blush is an American apple recorded in New Jersey by the early 1800s. Flattened and pale lemon-yellow with a delicate red "blush" on the sunny cheek, it has crisp, tart, aromatic white flesh. It was a classic apple for drying and for sauce, prized as much for its beauty as its use.
