Yellow Bellflower Apple
Yellow Bellflower is an American apple that originated in New Jersey in the late 1700s. Large and tapering, with smooth pale-yellow skin, it has tender, crisp flesh that is sharply tart when picked and mellows to a rich sweet-tart in storage. A good keeper, it served as both a cooking and dessert apple through the 19th century.
