Yellow Transparent Apple
Yellow Transparent is a Russian apple introduced to the United States in the 1870s. Among the very first to ripen each summer, it has thin, pale greenish-yellow skin and soft, tart, white flesh — the classic early apple for applesauce and pies before the main crop arrives.
